Your own arrangement, your own way
Floral jamming is a scheduled open session where you show up, pick the fresh flowers you like from our curated seasonal selection, and put together your own arrangement with some simple guidance from us. There is no script to follow and no wrong way to do it.
Each session has a specific format so you know what you are working towards, whether that is a vase arrangement, a hand-tied bouquet, a preserved bell jar, or a Christmas wreath. We handle the flowers, the materials, and the setup, so all you need to bring is yourself and a couple of hours to spend doing something that has nothing to do with a screen.
Sessions are held at our studio at One Commonwealth Lane and are open to all skill levels, from people who have never held a pair of floristry scissors to those who just want a good excuse to spend time with flowers.

What we've been doing
We rotate the arrangement format each session so there is always something new to try. The flowers change with the season, and the format is announced ahead of each session so you know what to expect before you show up.
Vase Arrangement
Pick your fresh blooms and build a lush arrangement in a vase you take home. A crowd favourite and a great place to start.
Hand-Tied Bouquet
Learn the spiral technique and leave with a wrapped bouquet ready to display or give away. More technical than it looks, but so satisfying when it comes together.
Preserved Bell Jar
Work with preserved flowers to create a display that lives inside a glass bell jar and keeps its colour and shape for months. A nice one to have at home.
Christmas Wreath
Build a fresh Christmas wreath using fragrant foliage and festive accents from our seasonal selection. Runs in November and December and tends to fill up fast.
When are the next sessions?

What it looks like on the day
Sessions tend to get a little chaotic in the best possible way. Here is what a typical afternoon at the studio looks like.
